We are Ending Hunger.

We end hunger and poverty by pioneering sustainable, grassroots, women-centered strategies and advocating for their widespread adoption in countries throughout the world.

Ending hunger is people-powered.  People like you, and people in the communities we support around the world are the driving force behind ending hunger by 2030.

You can make a difference. Together we can make change.

      Take Action Now!

When you support our work, you are making meaningful and lasting change for families and communities facing food insecurity, poverty and the effects of climate change.

Your support matters. Every dollar brings us one step closer to ending hunger and poverty forever.

The focus of the World Hunger Day 2024 campaign is maternal and child health. Join us as we work to ensure that mothers have access to information and nutritious foods for themselves and their babies is the most effective way to break the cycle of malnutrition.

World Hunger Facts.

Up to 811 million

people live in chronic hunger.

60%

of people living in hunger are women.

98%

of people suffering from undernourishment live in low-and middle-income countries.

How can world hunger be solved?

It is proven that mobilizing communities and empowering people, through education and access to resources, creates the context needed for people to end their own hunger. We have 40+ years of experience working with and mobilizing communities.

We also have resilience, courage, ingenuity, creativity, our commitment to learning, and last but not least, people, just like you, who also believe in the power of people to make change.

Empower.

We ensure the empowerment of women. Given the opportunity to generate and control an income, women routinely invest significant portions of their income in food, healthcare and education for their families.

Mobilize.

We empower people with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to break the cycle of poverty in order to mobilize communities.

Partner.

We work in partnership and local governments to end hunger. We have 2200 project sites, 14 600 partner communities, and reach approximately 15.4 million people.
