Meet Mr. Dia.

Mr. Dia is a Development Agent and Civil Engineering Worker in Senegal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

He shared the following about his experience with one of our epicenters: "The epicenter inspired me a lot, especially...the participatory approach, which is essentially based on women, who are the spearhead of the mobilization. The place of women in the organizational mechanism is the key to the success of the activities and there is also capacity building especially in the field of education."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

With the epicenter, we have seen the emergence of female leadership in almost every village (all 23 of them!) The women at Mr. Dia's local epicenter have started a microfinance program and are making huge impact locally!
